I am currently accepting new Clients for teletherapy throughout the state of Texas.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples surrounding relationship issues, life transitions, and processing trauma and abuse. Your life, relationship, and experiences are unique, and your therapy should be too. As your therapist, I am here to help you explore and implement the changes that you want to see in your life or relationship in a meaningful and lasting way.  I take great care in working with all of my Clients one session at a time supporting my Clients in making choices that make the most sense for THEIR lives.

  • There are many reasons that couples choose to utilize therapy; breakdowns in communication, persistent arguments, declining intimacy, financial strain, transitions of life, premarital conversations, coparenting, and divorce to name a few. As human beings we often crave connection with others, but more than that, we seek meaningful and trusting relationships with those we care about. We invest so much of ourselves into our relationships whether that be with a partner, spouse, family members, or friends. When we don’t feel that the same investment is being returned it can lead to individual and relationship issues/concerns.

  • Major life changes can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate for people in any stage of life. Maybe you are facing a major career change, getting married, having children, moving to an unfamiliar area, going through divorce, graduating from college, etc. All of these life changes even when planned can be difficult to adjust to and unwanted stress. Therapy can help find ways of managing and coping with the changes you are facing.

  • Many individuals seek therapy to better understand how the traumatic experiences in their lives continue to affect them both individually and in their relationships with others. Those who have experienced a trauma in their life may have a disrupted sense of safety, have difficulty trusting others, self-isolate, fall into problematic thought patterns surrounding their trauma experience, feel shame or guilt surrounding the experiences, etc. Therapy can help you to process trauma in a healthy way so that you may better understand your emotional response, improve coping skills, reduce fear and avoidance, build trust, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and offer understanding and acceptance of your experiences.
